Formed in 1988, the American alternative rock band from Chicago is known from their albums like Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. During the 1990s, The Smashing Pumpkins were one of the most critically acclaimed commercially successful band. The band's latest album is "Oceania" which was just released last June 19, 2012.
